Islam= Submission to Allah
The religion of Islam is not named after person as in cas of
~"Christianity" wich named after Jesus christ
~"Buddhsm" after Gautama buddha
~"Maxims" after karl marx
~"Confucianism" aftr confucius
Similarly, Islam is not named aftr a tribe like "judaism" after tribe of Judah or "Hinduism" aftr Hindus.
After Arabic world Islam mean the submission or surrender of on's 'll of the only true God worthy of worship (Allah)

Any one who does indeed submit to the 'll ofAllah as required by islam is trmed a "Muslim"which mean once who has submitted to the 'll of Allah.
Many people in the west hve developed in the sad misinformed tread of calling Islam ~muhammadenism, and follower muhamadien.
this is a totally foreign word to muslim an unrecognized by them. no muslim has called his religion muhammadenism or muhammadin
